Welcome to The MacAuliffe Site. Here you can learn about the history of the MacAuliffes - their lands and castles, the battles they fought - and read their ancient legends. You can also read about MacAuliffes who have achieved fame and distinction, or find out what is happening with the clann today, including the Rally that is held where the clann once had its lands (the next rally is in July 2012). You'll also have the opportunity to interact with other MacAuliffes from around the world on the several forums.
Over the years this site has grown very large - so much so that it was becoming difficult to manage. In order to make it easier both to manage and for visitors to find their way around I have now divided the site into several sections or sub-directories. Some of these sections themselves consist of several pages. Clicking on a tab on the navigation menu on the left will open out a tab to reveal the pages in that section.
I hope you enjoy the 'new-look' site and if you have any comments, good or bad, please let me know.
The highlight of the year for 2008 was the Clan Rally in Newmarket, County Cork, in what was once Clanawley, the land of the McAuliffes. Photos and reports are available at the Rally Page. Below is a sampling of photos which, if you have java enabled, you can see in a larger size by running the cursor over the thumbnail. Alternatively, you can go to the photo galleries below.
